When the intergalactic visitor – an impish and adorable alien called LU-LA – crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun soon sees an opportunity for alien-powered fun and adventure and sets off on a mission to shepherd LU-LA home.
Her magical alien powers, irrepressible mischief and galactic sized burps soon have the flock enchanted. Shaun takes his new extra-terrestrial friend on the road to Mossingham Forest to find her lost spaceship, unaware that a sinister alien-hunting agency is on their trail.

Unless you are living under a demagorgon in the Upside Down, and really why would you with the threat of being eaten, cover in mouldy crap and sent insane, you will no doubt be aware that Stranger Things 3 dropped into the waiting hands of millions upon millions of Netflix subscribers on 4 July.
It is, most reviews would agree, a cracker of a season – once my bingeing is down this weekend, I’ll let you know if I agree – and so naturally, Shaun the Sheep’s new featire length film, Farmageddon, has creatively jumped on the bandwagon giving us these brilliantly good takes on one of Netflix’s star attractions.
The posters are whimsical, fun and convey the delightfully manic energy of Shaun the Sheep, and really all of Aardman’s animation efforts which crackle with the kind of idiosyncractic glee that reminds you howw wonderfully silly the world can be.
And now, of course, as I watch Eleven and the gang combat yet more nasties from the Upside Down, all I will be thinking, besides where’s a good blanket to hide behind, is how Shaun might have fixed yet another supernatural incursion into our already-twisted world.
Farmageddon opens in UK on 18 October 2019, USA on 13 December and Australia on 9 January 2020.
