And that’s a (sudden) wrap! What if movies ended when a character uttered the title?

Chris Huebs has found a perfect, and highly-amusing way to cut down on the time it takes to watch a movie.

He’s put together a supercut of movies where the characters utter the title of the film – a more common occurrence than you might realise – and ended the movies at that point. Yup right then.

Granted you miss out a whole heap of narrative enjoyment, character development and some cinematic thrills and spills but as Games Radar makes clear it gives the movies in question a whole other (very briefly expressed) hilarious look and feel, with creative soundtrack choices to match:

“As you will see, some cinematic greats undergo a serious narrative overhaul. Jurassic Park is re-imagined as a world where dinosaurs and humans somehow manage to happily co-exist, and Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship of The Ring shuns its adventurous quest, instead closing on the start of budding friendship.

“The result is an amusing riff on abrupt conclusions, made all the more comical by smash cuts straight to a rockin’ soundtrack blasting out over the end credits. Well, apart from the Face/Off one. You can’t beat a Travolta throwback tune.”

It’s a great to way to look anew at these movies and laugh knowingly at some rather clunky dialogue choices.

And yes save some time … so you can go and see more movies!
