They’re back!
After two long Mr Meeseeks-deficient years, Rick and Morty, the gloriously twisted, technicolour creation of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, is back with the first five episodes of season 4 (another five are on the way at some indeterminate point in the future, along with an additional 60 episodes way down the track).
The trailer indicates very little has changed with Morty (Justin Roiland) continually put upon by his grandfather Rick (also Justin Roiland) who happily stands by while his grandson mutates, almost gets shot and falls off a cliff because … well, there are only so many hover chairs to go around, okay?
It is, by any estimation, BAU (business as usual) which when a series is as demented and weirdly fabulous as this one, is perfectly, wonderfully just as things should be, right Mr Poopybutthole?
