But in the weirdly and unsettling happy clappy world of Pluribus, a strange virus has everyone happy and content and thoroughly miserable author Carol is having none of it.

Can she save the world from a surfeit on contented bliss? You can only hope so; while the idea of blissful happiness seems quite lovely, Pluribus might make you think otherwise …

Pluribus premieres its first two of nine episodes on AppleTV+ on 7 November, with the remainder releasing weekly until Boxing Day, 26 December.
