Who wouldn’t want to escape from that particular crapfest?
Granted, these films are not exactly a warm bubble bath on a cold winter’s evening or a romantic night at a cafe in one of the old quarters of Paris but they aren’t real life and so, thus are enough of an escape that reality can be kept at bay for a couple of hours at least …
