“Modern Family” promos itself in classic style

The people behind the promotion of one of the best sitcoms on TV at the moment have always had a flair for representing the cast in all manner of colourful, creative shots.

It is one of those rare shows that has a consistent look and feel throughout all of its promotional artwork, that not only looks appealing but perfectly captures the characters and the spirit of the show as well.

That’s no mean feat when you are using still photos to represent a cast that most people are used to seeing moving, and most importantly for a cast of a sitcom, talking, in fun-filled animated 20 minute bursts on a TV screen.

And they have excelled yet again with a series of shots of the Modern Family cast dressed as classic sitcom characters, to celebrate the return of the show from its mid-season hiatus.

I have no doubt at all that Modern Family will join this pantheon of TV comedy greats in time but in the mean time, we can enjoy them colourfully evoking the past and marvel at the creative inspiration that keeps this show so fresh, both in front of, and behind the camera.
