The release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is just 2 short months away and every indication is that it’s shaping to be the best Christmas present anyone could ask for.
Filling in the backstory that lead to the events of Star Wars: A New Hope where the Rebels successfully blew the new Imperial master weapon The Death Star to smithereens – but alas not before it has done to the same to Princess Leia’s home world of Alderaan – Rogue One, directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla), looks like it will be every bit as engaging, action-filled and intelligently-articulated as The Force Awakens.
One of a series of standalone movies that will be released in-between the trilogy films, the next of which is Episode VIII due out December 2017, the film now sports a set of eight, immensely eye-catching character posters, all of which give us more sense of what lies instore for us in the next adventure from a galaxy far, far away and a long time ago.
