It’s super easy for any franchise, especially one as successful as Star trek, to simply do roughly the same thing over and over and over again.
After all, why not keep giving fans what they loved in first place until their Saurian brandy’d eyes bleed?
But thankfully Strange New Worlds, which is well and truly living up to the first part of its title, isn’t content to place the record on repeat and as we head into the third season, it looks like we are going to get a dizzying array of genres and some gloriously mixes of the serious, the silly and the sublime.
What a joy! It’s good to see there’s vibrantly creative left in those nacelles yet.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds releases on Paramount+ this northern Summer.
