Both of the first two books in her Divide series, The Last Watch and The Exiled Fleet, were superlatively written space operas with robust characterisation, narratives that adroitly balanced action and moments of affecting emotional intimacy and a sense of boundless imagination that fuelled some impressive world-building and social commentary.
It’s exciting that the third book will be released this year, and in my birthday month too, and that we now have an evocatively styled cover to further whet our already expectant appetites.
