I love a quirky, enticing title. I also love an enthrallingly imaginative premise.
Excitingly The Before Life of Eliza Valentine appears to have both in audaciously clever spades and given Laura Pearson’s track record for delivering on both title and premise, the hopes are high for her next novel.
It’s an intriguing idea that you have a life before and after your time here on Earth, and I can’t wait to see what Pearson does this with the idea that you have an existence before you even slip into these mortal bonds.
My TBR may be groaning and tottering and about to fall on and bury me but I will definitely be grabbing this because honestly how could I not with so much going for it?
