Weekend pop art: Drewbacca, pun-laden illustrations of Chewbacca

With May the Fourth Be With You only days away, and many a “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away” pun readied in anticipation, talented artist Joe Stone has created a delightful series of drawings that make merry with plays on Chewbacca’s name.

And they are most amusing indeed.

What do you call Han’s right hand Wookie sitting on the toilet? Why Loobacca of course? Waiting in a queue with Ewoks? C’mon you know this one! Queuebacca. And if there was more than one Resistance-centric Wookie in our midst? You got it – Twobacca.
