Game of Thrones title suggests many things – the perverse lengths many men and women will go to grab hold of the shiny brass ring of absolute power, the insanity of thinking that holding onto something as ephemeral as power will last any longer than a game, and whether it in fact has any real lasting value beyond the act of winning.
What it has been until now is a game, or games.
Red Medusa Animation Studio has now invested the title with a literally playful meaning, creating a series of games that captured the zeitgeist-dominating book and TV series and they look like a ton of fun to play.
Granted at this point they are short films with no actual interactive capabilities but oh that someone would come along and make these games real so we too could go and play the Game of Thrones.
And let’s be honest, if the games come bundled with a crown and a great big Iron Throne then all the better.

I just started watching Games of Thrones and am mega hooked. I can imagine anything related to the series will sell 😉
Indeed! It’s a massive hit. It took me a year to get through season 1-5 with my bf, watching 2 eps every second week but I’m addicted to now. Fantastic show and yes even I, non-gaming person that I am, would grab these games if they existed.
We’re watching at least two episodes a day atm and will soon be up to date lol
