Shaun the Sheep is a hoot!
There’s something inherently likable about Shaun the Sheep, a creation of the famously-wonderful and quirky Aardman Productions (Wallace & Gromit) who is mischievous and clever and never one to let an opportunity pass him by.
Used now to billing of his own after billing of his own, after an eponymously-named series, a theatre show Shaun’s Big Show (2007) and even a promotional campaign for the 2015 Rugby World Cup, and his own highly-successful 2015 film, Shaun the Sheep Movie, Shaun is back for another dance in the spotlight, this time one cast by an giant sheep-kidnapping spaceship.
The trailer promises all kinds of whimsical mayhem but this time on an intergalactic scale which has the potential to be ridiculously-entertaining given the studio’s penchant for looking at well-trodden narratives through hilariously-offbeat eyes.
I can baaaa-rely wait for the premiere!
