The truth is we can never have enough of Michael Bond’s wondrously sweet and insightful creation who has found heartwarming expression in 29 books – the last in the series, Paddington at St. Paul’s, was published posthumously in 2018 – TV series and movies, and now, rather happily if you’re in London, in Paddington: the Musical.
Featuring a life-sized Paddington, who is brought to life by actors James Hameed and Arti Shah, Paddington: the Musical has just made its world premiere and according to a slew of internet users, it is yet more reason to love the beloved marmalade sandwich-loving bear from Peru.
Here’s the musical quickly finding itself produced around the world because, given the sorry state of the world right now, we all need a lot more Paddington in our lives.
