Hands down, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is one of the best things to come out of the franchise for some time.
Well, since Deep Space Nine and Discovery, both of which, for wholly different reasons, hold very special places in my heart; regardless though of which show tops your boldly going charts, Strange New Worlds is something rich, vibrant and exciting with some superb characterisation, top class writing and a sense of garrulous adventure that makes you wish you too could dash out into the galaxy and explore all kinds of amazing new things.
Escapism is a wonderful thing but escapism with intelligence, humanity and heart? Even better and honestly 15th June, the season 2 streaming date on Paramount+, cannot come soon enough …
