Forget everything you ever knew about Easter!
The team behind Happy Easter happily and gloriously subvert everything you thought you knew about Easter chocolate eggs and bunnies and go to absolute town in a chocolate factory which is part Toy Story magical aliveness and part gangster noir writ large.
To say much more about what actually happens would be to spoiler the hell out of a story that’s dark and dirty but also gleefully hilarious and that comes with a great big dose of chocolatey karma sting in the tale.
What starts out as a simple tale of some foil gun-toting choco bunnies rescuing one of their own soon becomes dramatically much more and it will enliven and enrich your Easter in some truly epic and funny ways.
Happy Easter is what might happen if Pixar got its demented inner psycho on but also remembered to still throw some sage, thoughtful humanity into the mix and be more than a little silly too.
Rest assured – you will never see Easter chocolate quite the same way again …
