There is a fandom … and then there is FANDOM.
That’s not to say that there’s a ranking in fandom; it’s anything but – if you like a show like The Mandalorian, and by extension, Star Wars overall, you are a fan however it is expressed by you.
But there are some enormously talented and imaginative people like Brazilian designer Butcher Billy who take their love of something like The Mandalorian, which has just concluded a second brilliant season on Disney +, and something arrestingly, visually stunning with it.
Such as these pieces of artwork, which draw from quotes in the second season and recreate them in a way that evokes the look of classic movie posters.
They are awe-inspiringly good, a perfect accompaniment to a show already not short on superlatives.
