SNAPSHOT
It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down. (official synopsis courtesy Wikipedia)

It’s not long now until the Upside Down comes roaring back into our lives and that of the central characters of Hawkins, a good many of whom are no longer in the town in Indiana where the wholly captivatingly scary adventure began.

To say the anticipation is huge would be a massive understatement with COVID having delayed production and release of the fourth season and ratcheting everyone’s expectation about kind of gruesome evil, both monstrous and manmade will make its presence known this season and how it’ll affect our core cast of characters.

Tp stoke those anticipatory nerves still further, Netflix have released a stack of new character posters show everyone’s favourite demagorgon fighters looking as pensive as you’d expect.

No happy snaps for these poor beleaguered people who will once again have to dig down deep to save humanity from monsters both within and without.

Where it’ll all land is anyone’s guess, since we’ve been promised way more horror and terror, but we will find out on 27 May when season 4a lands, with 4b due to scare us silly on 1 July.
