Right so it’s time for bed time stories again.

And you’d rather be attacked by a herd of ravenous zombies or watch one of those 3am informercials for brooms that also double as fat-free burrito ovens than read another sickly sweet book of politically correct fairytales.

Well fear not beleaguered parents, beset by pink-hued princesses and overly-talkative anthropomorphic trains and cars, help is at hand!

Josh Cooley, who has been a storyboard artist at Pixar for over a decade, has drawn a host of R-rated film scenes in the style of the celebrated animation company and they are glorious to behold indeed.

He has covered a diverse range of movies from Alien to The Godfather, Pulp Fiction to The Graduate, Pyscho to Rosemary’s Baby and leaving the original lines intact, give them adorably fetching cartoon-ish sheen.

And to the eternal gratitude of adventurous parents everywhere, he has gathered them together into a book called Movies R Fun which has just been released to no doubt rapturous applause.

You can buy Movies R Fun from Amazon and prints of his wonderful drawings from his website.
