Your cosmic joyride awaits … Doctor Who drops new trailer and episode titles

SNAPSHOT
The series stars Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor, a new incarnation of the Doctor, an alien Time Lord who travels through time and space in the TARDIS, which appears to be a British police box from the outside. The Fifteenth Doctor was introduced in “The Giggle” (2023) through a “bi-generation”, in which he split from his predecessor, the Fourteenth Doctor (David Tennant), rather than replacing him. The series also introduces Millie Gibson as the Doctor’s newest companion, Ruby Sunday. (courtesy Wikipedia)

“You ready for this?”

Honestly, YES! The upcoming season of Doctor Who, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as his companion Ruby Sunday – both were introduced at Christmas in the special “The Giggle” – looks like it’s going to an absolute hoot and riot, full of exuberant, camp fun, gangbusting adventure and some truly soul-searingly serious moments.

In fact, it all looks so enticing, with new/old showrunner Russell T. Davies on board, that even though a far few of us will be up to our necks in Eurovision fun and frivolity, that time will need to be made to watch the first two episodes, “Space Babies” and “The Devil’s Chord” which both drop on release day.

To get us even more primed and ready, all the episode titles for season 14/season one have been revealed (see below), with seconds-long, super mini-trailers to whet our appetites further.

And as the Doctor himself says … “And that’s just the beginning” …

Doctor Who season 14 (season one) premieres on Friday 10 May at 7pm US-ET on Disney+ in the U.S. and at 12am on Saturday May 11th on BBC iPlayer in the UK. (info courtesy Dark Horizons)

We have episode titles! The mini-trailers are in order of episode transmission …
