I love some riotously funny and suitably epic sci-fi cinema.
LOVE IT.
Sure, you want all the big, bold, heavily-involved soap operatic action but some quirky and whimsy and downright hilarity thrown into the chaotic mix? Yes, please and galactically, thank you!
Watching the trailer for Borderlands, which is based on the video game franchise of the same name, you get a real Guardians of the Galaxy vibe to proceedings but with a raunchy, devil-may-care, highly irreverent flavour all its own, and honestly, it looks like just the movie to lose yourself in.
Borderlands opens 9 August in Australia and the UK.
