Meeting new people can be exciting and more than a little scary in real life but when it comes to TV shows, especially eagerly anticipated ones, it’s thrilling, wonderful and amazing and all the good thing.
These are the characters with whom you’re going to be (hopefully) spending a lot of time, and getting to know them ahead of time, even if it’s just in 30-second grabs, is a great lead-up to the launch of a show.
In this case, the show, Strange New Worlds, is the latest in the ever-expanding Star Trek universe of shows, in which the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise – this configuration is the one that staffed the famous starship in the decade before The Original Series – go to, well, the title says it all.
This means exciting new adventures with some very cool new characters whom we were eager to meet because why would you not want to, and the chance to leave behind the bonds of Earth and what the galaxy of the future has to offer.
If shows like Discovery and Prodigy are any indication, it’s a LOT! Get ready to soar …
Here’s your chance to get to know the crew courtesy of some short but very sweet promo videos …
