Sleeveface is an amusing participatory photo project in which people from all over the world strategically pose with matching album covers, creating the illusion that the original picture is complete. I am not a brilliantly coordinated person nor am I particularly patient.
I mention what may sound like utterly asked-for and extraneous facts because they are two qualities that contributors to the Sleeveface project, which is all about “one or more persons obscuring or augmenting any part of their body or bodies with record sleeve(s) causing an illusion”, seem to have in abundance.
Looking at the seamless way that the people behind the image merge themselves with their chosen album cover/s so they seem like a wholly natural extension of it, you are impressed not simply by the art created but by the way they precisely and no doubt patiently bring about the creation of this illusion.
